Mineral title runsheet: track the mineral chain of title for one or more tracts from the original sovereign owner forward, and separately record oil and gas leases, with held-by-production leases showing as a burden against the current mineral owner. Includes a name-alias tool to link differing spellings of the same owner's name, and a section plat page showing where each tract sits within the section.

⚡ Quick entry grid
One instrument per row — Tab moves across, Enter adds the row to the chain and starts the next one. Type takes abbreviations (PAT, WD, MD, QC, CD, RD, FD, AH). Separate multiple grantors/grantees with a semicolon; "John Smith and Mary Smith, husband and wife" auto-splits like the form does. Interest applies to each grantor — blank means ARTI (blank patent means ALL). You can also paste rows straight from Excel: 8 columns in this grid's order, or your 9-column runsheet layout (Instrument, Bk/Pg, Execution Date, Filed Date, Grantor, Grantee, Legal Description, Misc Notes → Interest, Chaining Notes → Notes).
| Type | Bk/Pg | Exec date | Filed date | Grantor(s) | Grantee(s) | Interest | Notes |

✎ Record a conveyance
☰ Mineral chain ledger
No conveyances recorded yet.
Start with the original patent or earliest instrument of record and work forward.
✎ Record a lease
☰ Lease ledger
0 leasesNo leases recorded yet.
Leasehold chain of title is tracked separately from mineral title here.
✎ Add a surface parcel
Optional. Current surface owners as pulled from the county appraiser / tax assessor. The surface often splits into parcels smaller than the mineral tract — add one row per parcel. This is a present-ownership snapshot, not a chain of title, and has no effect on the mineral chain, leases, or plat.
☰ Surface owners
0 parcelsNo surface parcels recorded.
Add current surface owners from the county tax assessor when you need to track them.
☉ Suggested matches
0 suggestionsNames that appear in the chain with small spelling differences. Confirm a match to treat them as the same owner for ownership totals — the original spelling stays exactly as recorded on each instrument. Linked here applies across every tract, since the same owners often appear on adjoining tracts.
